GOD IS THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS - EVEN MY PERSONAL WEALTH

How do I start? The old Marcia Cummings-Grayson would start from a position of worldly pride, based upon her achievements, certificates, degrees, accolades, board of directorships, path-blazer, and all the honors that man and satan would bestow upon a person. But the new Marcia, the one that has been born again, with a new spirit, regenerated soul, and body that is daily being brought under the submission of the Holy Spirit, would start this initial article from a position of lowliness, humbled by the mighty hand of an all-knowing, all-seeing, unconditionally loving God.

As one of the first African-American female Certified Public Accountants in the State of Florida, I have had the opportunity to fight and overcome many challenges, obstacles, and mountains. None, perhaps, as insurmountable, as the mountain called "self". After achieving the following:

owning a successful business as the principal of an outstanding CPA firm that has practiced in various reads;

Being a professor for almost twenty years, matriculating at the University of Miami, Miami-Dade Community College, Florida Memorial College, and Johnson-Wales University, to name a few;

Retained as an auditor at several prestigious organizations, such as MDPCS

Serving on Miami-Dade County Zoning Board and several other nonprofit organizations;

Appearing on television and radio as a business personality for 18 years;

Served on various committees to assist in the auditing and management of the City of Miami and Miami-Dade county governments;

Provided accounting and auditing services for clients such as Resolution Trust Corporation, FDIC, State of Florida, SmithKline Bee chum, to name a few; and

The first African-American to own and start the franchise of Jackson Hewitt Tax Service in Miami, with two territories covering all of South Dade, initially;

One would be inclined to believe that life revolves around themselves and them alone. However, today, I stand before you, saying it is the LORD that gives you the power to get all wealth. Deut 8:17 reads, But remember the LORD, your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth. So, it was never the person, Marcia, but instead, My Father, the Alpha and Omega, the I AM, that allowed me to attained any material gain or honor. 1Chr 29:12 reads "Wealth and Honor comes from God; He is the ruler of all things. In your (God) hands are strength and power to exalt and to give strength to all."

This is perhaps a good moment for me to pause, and tell the LORD thank you, not for my wealth, but for my salvation and my life in Christ Jesus. To walk in this newness of life means to walk in the grace and glory of the Most High. It means to have access to a level of knowledge and information that is not universally accessible. Isaiah 45:3 reads, "I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel (today's Christians)... The new Marcia is seeking a wealth that is reflective of the new birth, actually the mystery expressed in 2 Cor 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new". 

The new birth consist of an old body (flesh) housing a new tenant (the Holy Spirit) in conjunction with your spirit being completely changed when you truly repent and turn to God thru Jesus Christ. Thus, my new wealth, and yours, I might add, consist of your old mentality or exterior (body, education, skills, and talents) directed and overtaken by the Spirit of God (wisdom, honor, power, wealth, blessing, glory, and strength). Thus, this new wealth will be from the Creator. Prov. 10:22 reads, "The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no sorrow. Eccles 5:19 goes further, :Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, He enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work" - this is a gift of Jehovah. 

The new wealth will allow us to serve our LORD and Savior in spirit and truth, as a true worshipper. No more dying daily inside and pretending to be alive on the outside, but, instead, life, and life more abundantly. In scripture, a question is posed - asking the reader, which report will you believe - report of Man (your circumstances, education, resources) or of the LORD? I choose to believe the report of the LORD, and so should you.

Don't walk in doubt or fear, but, instead walk in faith. Faith is like a trigger, it produces action, even though there is no apparent reason to proceed further or step on the unseen. Faith is a time word. Heb 11:1, reads "Now, faith... indicates this moment, instant, no delay, ahorita (Spanish), means you walk away from the known past methodologies of acquiring wealth to an unknown, never envisioned one, called...FAITH. Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Rahab, the Israelites, all walked in faith, thus, honoring God, and He, in turn, honoring them by executing his plans. Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

2004 is your year for Wealth, it is ordained by the Father. He desires that you are healthy, wealthy, as your soul prospers. These past seven (7) years have been years of humiliation, humbling, acknowledgement, repentance, suffering, uprooting, and finally, recognition that GOD is. Isaiah 53:10 reads it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life like a guilt offering...the will of the LORD will prosper... 

In conclusion, the following is required to obtain your wealth:

Confession that you've sinned in many ways, forgiveness of all trespasses, even your own, and that you are not the author of your personal wealth;

Have Faith in God, that will propel you into the unknown, depending upon the Unseen Father, which allows the favor of God to rest upon your life;

You must be born again (in order to receive the new spirit to ensure that you receive the transmission from the Holy Spirit, who receives from Jesus Christ), Revelations that cannot be intercepted by the Prince of the Air, because they are directly from the Father. As Jesus stated to Peter (Matt 16:16-18), "Blessed art thou...for flesh and blood did not reveal ...but my Father, which is in heaven...upon this rock (the Holy Father's Revelation), I will build my church (You, the believer) and the gates of the hell shall not prevail against it (the Christian - You). 

Tithing (Malachi 3:10 - Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse. I will pour you out a blessing...not room enough to receive it). Giving opens the window to receive.

Obedience to the Word of God with all your might and strength, Daily affirmations which mandates your speaking to the mountains or rocks that are keeping your dreams and visions in the tomb of despair and disappointment, A change of citizenship from kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light (I Peter 2:9 Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people), and finally, Remember, You are the Millionaire, the Man/Woman of God, the Son/Daughter of Zion that the LORD has declared, and as such, your Royalty is inherent in your relationship with your Father. A queen cannot exist as designed without a king, nor a king without his kingdom.

Will you promise yourself that you will think and imagine yourself to be what God has called you to be? And thus, you will have your wealth and position in the royal family. You must Walk in Faith in your Blessings in the Name of Jesus
