EXPERIENCE:

As Cummings‑Grayson & Co's managing partner, Mrs. Grayson has more than twenty (20) years experience in various industries in the field of auditing, accounting, data processing, including credit unions, governmental, non‑ profit organizations, health, professional services including retail and wholesale. She has held various positions including Chief Accountant, Controller, Senior Auditor, Accounting and Tax Manager. From 1980 to 1990, the bulk of work performed has been in public accounting, conducting such functions, but not limited to audits, reviews, compilations, management advisory services, and all forms of tax preparation ‑ sales, payroll, income for a wide range of entities, including government and estates.

1987-1990

Ms. Grayson was retained as a Senior EDP Auditor for the Dade County Public School board where she conducted at least 85 internal control audits for school operations, inventory, construction consultants, and assisted substantially with the finance audits, as well.

Ms. Grayson has served as a seminar facilitator for several years in a variety of topics, such as internal control planning, tax planning, small business operation, and conducts seminars on a monthly basis for a variety of entities. Most seminars contain elements of training to the attendees and a follow‑up process.

In addition, for the past ten (10) years, Mrs. Grayson has been a Professor of Accounting at Florida Memorial College, (an historically black college) teaching such courses as advanced accounting, accounting principles, money and banking, auditing, and federal income tax.
